WHEN DOES OUR QUEST FOR HEALTHINESS BECOME UNHEALTHY?

Cooking shows, cookbooks, diets and social media, drive food behaviours to choices that can become entangled in obsessive rules
of engagement. Eating-rules, when applied too rigidly, can lead to obsessive
healthy eating and living, a disorder called Orthorexia Nervosa. According to
psychotherapist John Robbemond one reason for this behaviour stands in the difficulty to
reflect one’s own rules when it comes to food.
The responsive website eatinthisorder.com enables
the user to evaluate and reflect on his individual relationship to food and
healthy eating. This simple visual test reveals the realities of our
eating behaviours which invite self-reflection and examination. The results
help us reflect on our relationship to food, which can prevent eating disorders
to
develop.
